From Filmmaker to TV Host: My First Gig on Discovery+

A New Role After 10 Years Behind the Camera
After a decade of making my own adventure films, I finally stepped in front of the camera—as TV host and expedition leader for a new reality-adventure series on Discovery+ Denmark.
But this isn’t your typical survival show.
It’s a celebration of adventure—an exploration of how nature’s power can challenge us, change us, and connect us.
Over the course of a 16-day expedition filled with wild rapids and breathtaking landscapes, six Danish celebrities—Jesper Nøddesbo, Andreas Jessen, Ibi Støving, Skinz, and Anne-Marie Rindom—embark on a journey where teamwork and trust are essential for making it through.
At first, stepping into the role of a TV host was nerve-racking. But I quickly realised it’s not so different from being a wilderness guide:
Share your passion, create a safe space for transformation, and make sure everyone walks away with a story they’ll never forget.
And yes—it definitely helped that I’ve spent years filming my own adventure documentaries.
