Hi, I’m Thor
Thor F Jensen, born Copenhagen 1981,
is a Danish adventurer, speaker, filmmaker, author and illustrator. He has completed a world-first circumnavigate New Guinea by canoe.
Produced three award-winning adventure documentaries, written two books and hosted a TV show.
He now lives in Darwin where he works with film and environmental advocacy.
Thor is a member of the Adventurers’ Club of Denmark
Mission
I believe we all have the power to shape the world we live in and make it a better place. I do this through my adventures, speaks, environmental advocacy and by supporting Papua New Guineas very first canoe building school Pasana Group.
I feel adventure and travel is still very much stuck in the colonial mindset, I want to change this and have over the years developed the philosophy Redefining Adventure.
This means making adventure accessible and inclusive, centring the voices of other cultures and contributing to a higher purpose beyond the individual. Learn more:
